We’re very excited to tell you about a young singing sensation that we met recently in Cooperstown. His name is Anthony Gargiula, and at age 11 he’s already appeared on The Ellen Show, Today Show and is the youngest person to ever sign at Carnegie Hall. His YouTube video, taken when he was only 7 yrs old, shows him singing the National Anthem at a Siena College basketball game. This summer, the National Baseball Hall of Fame invited him to sing the National Anthem at the 2010 Baseball Induction Ceremony. Anthony tells us one of his many goals is to sing the National Anthem at all the Major League Baseball stadiums in America. He already sang the National Anthem for the Red Sox, the Minnesota Twins and the L.A. Dodgers.
Anthony loves our baseball cookies, so when he was in Cooperstown this summer he made this video in front of Doubleday Field.
Anthony has just released his debut CD titled “Finally Done,” available for purchase on iTunes.
A short clip of song titled “Game Over” from Anthony’s new CD! Enjoy!

Cooperstown is synonymous with Baseball, and this summer, we’ll have more baseball than ever. Yes, Cooperstown now has its own team, playing on historic Doubleday Field. The Cooperstown Hawkeyes, a member of the New York Collegiate Baseball League, will play 21 games at Doubleday Field.
The Cooperstown Cookie Company is proud to be a sponsor of the Cooperstown Hawkeyes, and look forward to a great season. Go Hawkeyes!
On Father’s Day, the National Baseball Hall of Fame will hold the Hall of Fame Classic. It’s a great chance to see Hall of Famers Gary Carter, Bob Feller, Rollie Fingers, Goose Gossage, Harmon Killebrew, Phil Niekro and Ozzie Smith play along with other former MLB players. The weekend is filled with family-friendly activities, and the Cooperstown Cookie Company will be on Main Street, displaying our baseball cookie treats. Come by! We’ll also be the the parade, woo hoo!
