So happy to welcome back baseball. This spring has been busy here at the Cooperstown Cookie Company.  Our new Camden Yards Stadium tin has been a big hit with Orioles fans. This tin joins the popular Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, Vintage Yankee Stadium and Cooperstown/Doubleday Field tins.  Through April 10, we’re running a special, filling the stadium tins with bite-sized Bunts, and a peanut butter filled chocolate cap. What a great way to start of the season.

Last week, I was on the Syracuse, NY based WCNY Connected, where I got to chat about how the company started, our great tasting baseball cookies and the new baseball season. You can watch the clip.

And, our friends at the Food Network re-aired the Unwrapped feature on the Cooperstown Cookie Company. Every time this episode airs, we make new baseball cookie fans. I love it!  Catch it on YouTube, or see it when it airs again on April 8 at 11:30 pm ET/PT and April 9 at 2:30 am ET/PT.

For the Padres opening day in San Diego, corporate staff are enjoying treats from the Cooperstown Cookie Company.  The New York Yankees will serve 1200 Yankees Baseball Cookie Bunt Packs at its Welcome Home Opening Day fundraiser.   We continue to add to the list of retailers carrying our baseball cookies around the country. Publishers Clearing House is featuring our stadium tins in its new catalog, and the Vermont Country Store is featuring stadium tins and Bag of Bunts in its catalogs and retail stores.

We are the featured Gourmet Giveaway at The Nibble for the week of April 5-12.  And, the fun web site Tailgating Ideas wrote a great review of the Cooperstown Cookie Company: “Although The Hall of Fame may be the most famous thing in Cooperstown to baseball fans, to tailgaters, the Cooperstown Cookie Company may be the most delicious.”

I love how couples are creating wedding receptions to reflect their personality and creativity. And, I especially love when couples choose to feature Cooperstown Cookie Company baseball cookies at their wedding receptions. We have been honored to have couples feature our baseball cookies at showers, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions.

Kids love the Ballpark Bunt Box, a great party favor

We get a lot of orders for birthday presents. Some order our gift towers that combine our baseball cookies with cool t-shirts and mugs from our Baseball…Anyone Can Play gift line we created with the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

A great seller for us has also been the Ballpark Bunt Box, an animal-cracker sized box featuring nine of our bite-sized, baseball cookies (“Bunts” get it?). The Ballpark Bunt Box features a fill-in scoreboard, a picture find, trivia question, and fun illustrations. (A young friend is holding a Ballpark Bunt Box in the photo above. Kids really love ‘em.) They make great favors for a baseball birthday party, or any baseball event. And, a private school in NYC ordered a bunch to use for baseball math. A delicious way to learn!

Your favorite ballpark may even be offering Ballpark Bunt Boxes for sale this year. (If not, ask them to!)

A friend suggested a great idea for a kid’s baseball birthday party. Bake up a batch of cupcakes in the birthday girl’s or birthday boy’s favorite flavor, ice them and then place a Bunt, our bite-sized baseball cookie on top. Simple and delicious baseball fun!
