Cooperstown Cookie Joins in Festival Fun

The Cooperstown Cookie Company is on the road this weekend.

We’ll be at the 8th Annual Mohawk Valley Garlic and Herb Festival  in Little Falls, NY this Saturday, displaying our baseball cookie treats. This festival, whose theme is “Eat, Stink & Be Merry”, is always a great time. Features music, crafts, a Garlic Queen, and lots of great food. We’ll be offering tastes of  a new rosemary shortbread cookie. Please stop by our booth! For more info, go to the Garlic Festival web site.

And, from Baseball Cookies and Garlic, to Baseball Cookies and Beer. We’ll also be participating in Ommefest at Brewery Ommegang this Saturday. This event is a toast to the harvest season with fermented foods, local beer, wine and cider, and other locally grown foods.     It also showcases local artists and craftspeople. Brewery Ommegang is located just south of Cooperstown.

Also this weekend is the Harvest Festival at The Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown. Lots of fun events to enjoy.

Ladies Who Launch selected  Cooperstown Cookie Company founder and CEO Pati Drumm Grady as its “Featured Lady.” The profile tells how Pati created a winning company based on gourmet baseball cookies, and outlines successes, such as becoming an official MLB licensee.

Read the Ladies Who Launch profile. This article has generated a lot of interest. The popular Foodzie blog, for example, referred to it as a resource for others looking to start up a food business.  Always great to get good press, and spread the word about our sweet success with baseball cookies.

Boston loves baseball, and baseball cookies

My last post talked about  selling Cooperstown Cookie Company baseball cookies at a festival. Today, I wanted to tell you about some of our great retailers, who carry our baseball cookies. From Nordstrom’s, Whole Foods and Marriott to Straws & Sweets on Cooperstown’s Main Street, retailers of all sizes are finding Cooperstown Cookie Company baseball treats are a hit with customers.

Boston Red Sox Baseball Cookies from the Cooperstown Cookie Company are a big hit

You can find retailers in 11 different states. We have a great presence our home state here in New York, but you’ll see the Boston area is a huge fan of our cookies.  You can buy Cooperstown Cookie Company baseball cookies at the USS Constitution Museum, Best of Boston stores, Lucy’s League and the Old North Gift shop, and about 50 other stores.

So, a big thank you to Boston. I think I’ll celebrate by enjoying a Boston Red Sox Baseball Cookie Bunt Pack. Yum.

PS If you’re a retailer who would like to feature Cooperstown Cookie Company baseball cookies, call 888/269-7315, or email. We’d be delighted to add you to our winning team of retailers.

I love to introduce people to our yummy baseball cookies. Online and phone orders are great of course, but there is something special when you get to see people’s reaction firsthand.

“Wow, these are great.” “My son/wife/father/daughter/dad/aunt would LOVE these.”  “The perfect gift for a Phillies/Yankees/Red Sox/your team here! fan.”

So, whether it’s the gigantic and wonderful NASTF Fancy Food Show, a Pride of New York show, a baseball gift show, or right here in Cooperstown,  the Cooperstown Cookie Company really enjoys meeting folks and telling them first hand about our baseball cookies. This weekend, I was at the first-ever Railroad Festival in Cooperstown, a beautiful sunny day. Our local paper, The Daily Star, snapped this photo. Thanks to Daily Star photographer Brit Worgan

Hi all,

I started this blog to talk about baseball cookies, the Cooperstown Cookie

some great news a bit outside my usual subject matter.

This weekend, I became a Grandma. We’re all thrilled to announce the birth of Dylan
