Food Network’s Unwrapped to feature Cooperstown Cookie Company 1/22

The popular Food Network program Unwrapped will feature the Cooperstown Cookie Company on January 22 at 9 pm EST.

Cooperstown Cookie Company offers custom tins of baseball cookies for every Major League Baseball team

Baseball cookies come packaged in your choice of MLB licensed tins, as well as the National Baseball Hall of Fame gift line.

The episode “Game Day Goodies,” is hosted by Marc Summers. Unwrapped provides a behind-the-scenes look into America’s favorite foods.  A crew from Unwrapped filmed the episode onsite last November. “It was a great experience,” says Cooperstown Cookie Company founder and CEO Pati Drumm Grady.

This is the second time Unwrapped has featured the Cooperstown Cookie Company. Grady said every time that episode, which first aired in May 2007, is shown, they get a jump in sales.

“There is something special about our baseball cookies that really resonates with people,” says Grady. “We’re a small company based in Cooperstown, the home of baseball, and our all-natural cookies are based on my family’s

favorite shortbread recipe.”  Grady says the company’s baseball cookies are popular as gifts, and as favors for baseball weddings and birthdays.

Cooperstown Cookie Company baseball cookies and baseball caps are available to purchase online at www.CooperstownCookie.com, by phone, 888/269-7315, and at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and select retailers nationwide. Several Major League Baseball teams also are customers, including the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals.

Meet Anthony Gargiula

We’re very excited to tell you about a young singing sensation that we met recently in Cooperstown. His name is Anthony Gargiula, and at age 11 he’s already appeared on The Ellen Show, Today Show and is the youngest person to ever sign at Carnegie Hall. His YouTube video, taken when he was only 7 yrs old, shows him singing the National Anthem at a Siena College basketball game. This summer, the National Baseball Hall of Fame invited him to sing the National Anthem at the 2010 Baseball Induction Ceremony. Anthony tells us one of his many goals is to sing the National Anthem at all the Major League Baseball stadiums in America. He already sang the National Anthem for the Red Sox, the Minnesota Twins and the L.A. Dodgers.

Anthony loves our baseball cookies, so when he was in Cooperstown this summer he made this video in front of Doubleday Field.

Anthony has just released his debut CD titled “Finally Done,” available for purchase on iTunesicon.

A short clip of song titled “Game Over” from Anthony’s new CD! Enjoy!

New York Newsday Features Vintage Yankee Tins; Baltimore Blog Highlights Baseball Cookies

Newsday featured our Vintage Yankee Stadium Tin

Newsday featured our Vintage Yankee Stadium Tin

Newsday had a great piece featuring our Vintage Yankee Stadium tin filled with bite-sized baseball cookies, calling it a great way “celebrate the Yankees’ victory – or mourn their defeat “

The Taste of Baltimore blog also wrote up a nice piece on our Baseball Cookie Bunt Packs, featured in this case of course with the Baltimore Orioles. The blog says:

Why are they called baseball cookies? Cause they’re shaped like baseballs and they come in cute baseball packages that you can customize based on your own Major League Baseball Team!

The best part of these cookies, to me, is that they have 5 ingredients! …I was so excited when I saw this! How often do you pick up a package of something and not understand a word of the ingredients? It says Unbleached flour, butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Wow. I know what all of those words mean :)

And how do they taste? Like shortbread! Classic shortbread: buttery and not-too-sweet. It’s great that you can find natural cookies, with real ingredients, and not have to sacrifice taste!
So check out the website: www.cooperstowncookie.com and let me know what you think. There are lots of other cookies to purchase as well. These cookies would be a great gift for a Baseball lover!
Still time to order some baseball cookie treats to enjoy with the World Series! Why not order some today?
