Just wanted to share that the Cooperstown Cookie Company has won the Breakthrough Award from the Otsego County Chamber.  “These awards celebrate the true backbone of upstate New York and the nation’s economy,” said Rob Robinson, President & CEO of The Otsego County Chamber. The award will be presented at the Small Business Banquet, Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown.

“The Cooperstown Cookie Company is a true statement of what the free enterprise system is all about,” noted Jim Jordan of James Jordan Associates, Architects, the sponsor of the Breakthrough Award.

The Cooperstown Cookie Company is delighted to receive the Breakthrough Award. We’re approaching our fourth year in business, and it’s been a wild, wonderful ride. With hard work, flexibility and a great-tasting baseball cookie, the Cooperstown Cookie Company has gained customers nationwide and abroad,

I love how couples are creating wedding receptions to reflect their personality and creativity. And, I especially love when couples choose to feature Cooperstown Cookie Company baseball cookies at their wedding receptions. Congratulations to Chrissy S. of Waterloo, NY, the winner of the Cooperstown Cookie Company’s first-ever Ultimate Cooperstown Baseball Weekend Sweepstakes. It was delightful to talk with Chrissy, and to give her the good news. She’ll be coming with a guest to Cooperstown, be treated to a luxury two-night stay, delicious meals, gifts from select Cooperstown retailers, invites to the World Series Gala at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, a behind the scenes tour of the Hall, and more.

Thanks to all of you who entered. We had hundreds and hundreds of entries, from 48 of 50 states. Remember, everyone can enjoy the taste of Cooperstown with a gift from the Cooperstown Cookie Company.
